Dr. Tess Guy joins Ark as the new Medical Director. She loves fostering relationships between her clients and their pets and striving to make everyone’s experience a positive one. She enjoys behavior, radiology/diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, orthopedics, and surgery.
She received her undergraduate degree in environmental chemistry from University California San Diego. She worked as a veterinary technician then transitioned over to molecular biology and research chemistry. She then came back to veterinary medicine graduating with a dual degree from Utah State University and Washington State University.
She enjoys beach combing, paddle boarding, painting, riding horses and spending time with her wife and furry family. They have a Great Dane puppy named Kaia, a deaf Pitbull named Harper, two Maine Coon mixes, Hurley and Willow, and three horses, Jen, Nova and Vader.
