I was born and raised in Billings, MT and grew up in the great outdoors of Montana. I had always had a passion for animals and my father was a dairy farmer growing up. When I was approaching graduation with my bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology from The University of Montana (GO GRIZ!), I decided to apply for veterinary school and was accepted. I met my now fiancé and soon to be wife during veterinary school and graduated in the spring of 2024 from Washington State University. I spent my first year out of school in Greenwood Village, CO working in a small animal general practice clinic. My fiancé then accepted a Residency position at Oregon State University which brought us here to Oregon’s west coast.
In my free time I enjoy big game hunting as well as upland bird hunting with my dog Mulder who is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. I also have a 5-year-old cat named Rosebud Fluff N’ Stuff who is the boss of the house. When it’s not hunting season, I can be found exploring new rivers in my raft (with my dog), fly fishing until it’s dark. I also enjoy horseback riding, farmers markets, and sports.
